sardinas
Usually we don't depend on the supermarket next door for buying groceries, but it does provide us with the ingredients for a favorite meal we like to make when we're in a pinch. The ingredients we buy: a tin of sardines, pasta, bread (the rest of the ingredients are whatever vegetables we have in the house). Its a hearty pasta dish of sardines and toasted bread crumbs. The version we made last night was a spicy tomato based sauce with onions, garlic, lime juice, spinach, parsley, and parmesan. Thank you Mark Bittman.
